Bruce brings almost thirty years’ experience in the IT Services and Communications sector to the Marshal business. He has a track record of building successful organizations and driving maximum performance through the implementation of commercially-focused financial and operational controls and processes. His previous roles include Head of Strategic Operations for BT Global services where he was responsible for aligning operational plans with strategic direction and overseeing corporate change programs; Group Controller for Syntegra , BT's Global Consulting and Systems Integration subsidiary; and Finance Director for BT(CBP) Ltd , a specialist provider of Trading Systems technology. Bruce has also worked as an independent consultant to Sprint EMI during its start up phase. |
Ellynora Nicoll |
Vice President of Marketing |
Ellynora joined Marshal from Symantec where she was responsible for Global Strategic Alliances working with companies such as IBM Global Services, EDS, CSC, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Deloitte. She has worked in the IT industry for more than 15 years. Her previous roles include Marketing Director at MessageLabs where she was responsible for developing and implementing corporate marketing and go-to-market strategies. Ellynora has also held business development and marketing management roles in organizations including NDS and IBM Global Services. |
Nick Hawkins |
Vice President of Global Sales |
Nick is responsible for driving Marshal’s global sales and channel strategies across all regions. He has extensive and proven experience in managing successful IT organizations and establishing key sales methodologies that yield outstanding results. In his prior role leading Marshal’s Asia-pacific teams, Nick consistently increased market share and revenues in the Australian, New Zealand and Asia-Pacific markets. Prior to joining Marshal, Hawkins was Vice President of Sales for MessageLabs Asia-Pacific where he set up the company’s Asia-Pacific operations and presence. Previously, he held management positions in business development with British Telecom and NDS, located in the UK and Hong Kong. |
Jeremy Hulse |
Vice President of Asia Pacific |
Jeremy is responsible for sales, channel and business development strategy in Asia-Pacific. With 23 years of experience in the Information Technology industry in the Asia Pacific region, his capabilities range from successfully selling products, solutions and services and developing business units. Jeremy has considerable experience in large enterprises sales, service provider environments and a track record in delivering strong revenue pipelines across all sales disciplines. He joined Marshal from Oracle, where he held the position of APAC Director of Security and Identity Management, in the Consulting Division. Prior to Oracle, Jeremy was business manager for Security Services for Cisco, where he worked as part of their worldwide security practice. |
Michael Whitehurst |
Vice President of Global Support |
Michael is responsible for delivering worldwide customer services in support of Marshal’s email and Internet content security solutions and has been with Marshal since 2003. He manages the Global Technical Support organization, which doubled in staff size in 2008, with regional hubs in Houston (US), Vancouver (CAN), Basingstoke (UK) and Auckland (NZ). Michael has over 12 years of experience and brings an extensive background with him following key positions he held in domestic as well as international IT technical and customer support in a variety of companies, including NetIQ, UBS Warburg and Reliant Energy. |

Peter Hodges |

Peter has worked with Marshal Software since its inception in 1997. Peter was Chief Technology Officer and Director of Marshal Software until the company was acquired by NASDAQ-listed NetIQ in 2002. During that time, Peter was responsible for all developmental aspects of Marshal's product line and he re-joined Marshal in January 2006 following its MBO from NetIQ. |
Kevin McFall |

Kevin is an IT veteran and brings 26 years industry experience to his role as Chief Technology Strategist. He also has worked with Marshal Software since 1997 and was a Director of Marshal Software until the company was acquired by NASDAQ-listed NetIQ in 2002. Together with Peter, Kevin was responsible for the developmental aspects of Marshal's product line until he re-joined Marshal in January 2006. Kevin drives the inbound product management team. This includes direction of development of existing and new technologies within the Marshal product sets, and input to overall product strategy. |

Chris has almost 2 decades of IT experience in roles covering software project management and development, business analysis, enterprise architecture and business management. He is responsible for expanding and leading Marshal's software development capability and he brings best-practices and a high level of professionalism to our development endeavors. Prior to joining Marshal, Chris held positions including GuruHut, Software Futures, FutureWorks and Optifab in South Africa. |
Bradley Anstis |
Vice President of Products |
Bradley is responsible for driving the continuing development, innovation and improvement of Marshal solutions. He works closley with the Threat Research and Content Engineering team (TRACE) which provides round the clock monitoring of email and Internet traffic, ensuring that Marshal keeps pace with emerging security trends and market requirements and provides solutions that protect customers from the latest threats to their electronic communications. Bradley is a 20 year veteran of the IT industry and has held various technical management positions with Protocom Development Systems and Citrix in Asia Pacific. |
Phil Hay |
Lead Threat Analyst, TRACE Labs |
Phil leads Marshal’s Threat Research and Content Engineering (TRACE) labs, driving threat research programs, and assessing and translating threat intelligence into approaches that benefit Marshal customers as well as the security industry. With Marshal since 1999, he has held increasingly responsible positions as manager of Technical Support operations before taking over the TRACE labs and developing Marshal‘s SpamCensor anti-spam technology. Phil is also a global company spokesperson for TRACE and industry threat alerts and information. |
